Domain of Epirus

During the decadence of the Byzantine Empire, in the area of unified Epirus, the “Domain of Epirus” was founded, stretching from Arta to Dyrhacchion. Since 1449, Epirus is occupied by the Turks. The Christian Epirots from the Northern regions resist under the leadership of the “Epirot Prince” Georgios Kastriotis (known as Skenderbey).
